This past week my son performed in his very first play and we are so proud of how well he did. It was a long two months of rehearsals, a bit overwhelming for him because it interrupted his daily routine. But he pulled through with our support and the support from his teachers.
We feel so blessed to have such wonderful teachers who are there supporting and teaching him .
This was the very first time I had to make a handmade costume for a play. My son played the part of a swordfish.
So I headed down to the thrift store and found a sweatshirt and sweatpants.
Then I headed to Micheals and picked up some felt.
Began to work on the costume.
Here is the finished costume.
He likes his costume!
